Tipping Fees
All garbage bags or articles deposited at the landfill site must have a bag tag and/or applicable tipping fees apply and must be paid onsite. Bag tags may be purchased from the Municipal Office or at any landfill site.
All Fees are HST exempt
Every separate trailer attached to a vehicle is considered a separate load.
Construction/Domestic Waste
Principle Residential Household – 100 free tags/year
Seasonal Residential Household – 30 free tags/year
Halls/Churches – 20 free tags/year
Bag tags - $1.50 each
½ Ton up to 1 Ton Truck - $30.00/load
1 Ton - $60.00/load
Tandem Truck - $110.00/load
Larger than Tandem Truck - $140.00/load
White Metals
Freon removed and tagged only. Includes washers, dryers, refrigerants, hot water tanks etc. $10.00/unit.
Scrap Metals
Single items which are readily movable by one person without assistance – Free, ½ Ton Truck up to 1 Ton Truck - $10.00/load
n Truck up to Tandem - $25.00/load
Larger than Tandem - $40.00/load
Non Hazardous Soil
Testing results in accordance to regulations must be submitted to the Municipality for review prior to dumping (a letter verifying material is deemed non-hazardous).
Barrel to ½ Ton Truck - $75.00/load
1 Ton - $125/load
Tandem Truck - $150.00/load
Larger than Tandem Truck $200.00/load
*All material must be pushed and leveled.
